Jada Conner, Hilliard, FL
Daughter of Jamie and Jana (Geiger) Conner
Conner & Conner Inc.

Hello, I am Jada Conner an 18-year-old senior at Hilliard Middle-Senior High School. I am the daughter of Jamie and Jana (Geiger) Conner and I have one brother, Crew. I am the great granddaughter of Dane and Emily Conner and granddaughter of Norval and Judy Conner. My dad is a third-generation owner of the logging company Conner and Conner Inc. in Hilliard, Florida. I am thankful to have grown up in a small town with a large family and strong morals. I have enjoyed being a part of my community through being a volunteer with the local elementary school and spending time working on various activities in my church, Buford Grove Baptist Church. I am a proud member of multiple clubs throughout my school including: National Beta, National Honor Society, Chick-fil-a Leader Academy, and the A-team Volunteer Club. I am also a part of Student Government at HMSHS, serving as the Senior Class Historian and I serve as the Editor and Photographer for the school’s yearbook. I spend free time being with family, going out eat, watching movies, or playing board games and of course doing Disney stuff. In November 2017, I applied and was accepted early to Florida Southern College of Lakeland, Florida. In the Fall of 2018 I am super excited to continue my education as a double major in Communications and Business Management. My goal is to earn a degree that will lead me into a career for the Walt Disney Company. I come from a family of strong work ethics and plan to continue those traits as I venture into the next stage of life. I am truly grateful to be chosen as the Florida recipient for the Bart Allen Memorial Scholarship Award, the allocated funds will be a great resource towards my educational goals. Thank you, Southeastern Wood Producers, for this award!
